Joining Maker Faire Aarhus as a maker, gives you a platform to showcase your projects. Most makers bring things they have built, hacked or somehow created themselves. We encourage all makers to bring something for the guests to try/experience, rather than just something to see. Usually makers get a table for their work/projects, but others move around with their creations.

It is free to join as a maker, and you apply through the call for makers when it opens (early january). We reserve the right to reject makers that are not a great fit for Aahus Maker Faire, but usually we will get in touch if we have any concerns with your project. The next Maker Faire Aarhus will be held on April 27th and 28th 2024 at Dokk1, Aarhus.

What do you get as a maker?

In 2023 6500 people visited Maker Faire Aarhus, thus making it a great platform to showcase projects.

We – the maker faire team – try to make sure that our makers feel valued and appreciated. We offer free breakfast, lunch, coffee and snacks for all makers at the maker lounge all weekend (all vegetarian catering).

Many makers return every year for the Aarhus Maker Faire, and they emphasize that their favorite part of the Faire is meeting the other makers. It is a very inspiring and fun weekend to be a part of, for the nerdy and creative, and new friendships are forged every year.
