What is Maker Faire Aaarhus?

Maker Faire Aarhus is a part of the international MAKE community, and our mission is to strengthen and empower the DIY culture in Aarhus and the rest of Denmark.

Our slogan is: “See cool inventions – learn how they work – make them yourself!”

We are organized under Aarhus Libraries as a partnership between the library and the local hackerspace Open Space Aarhus (OSAA).

Maker Faire Aarhus is free to attend, for both guests and makers. In 2023 we had roughly 6500 visitors of all ages.
